If you need to see a doctor or fill a prescription before your health insurance ID card arrives, please don't wait. Seek the services that you need right away.

If you are experiencing an emergency:

Call 911 or otherwise seek the care you need immediately. If your case is being processed, you will be reimbursed for some or all of your out-of-pocket costs by your insurance company, based on your selected plan.  
 

If you need non-emergency services call Vermont Health Connect’s Customer Support Call Center Monday-Friday 8am-5pm except holidays:

Call 1-855-899-9600 and we'll give you the information you need to make sure you're covered.
 

If you need non-emergency services and Vermont Health Connect's Customer Support Center is not open:

Seek the care you need. If your case is being processed, you will be reimbursed for some or all of your out-of-pocket costs by your insurance company, based on your selected plan.

If you need prescriptions, you may want to ask your pharmacist for just a few days' worth. You can then refill the prescription after you call us to get more information about your policy.
