Vermont Communications Toolkit for 2022 Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment is the time to look again at health and dental insurance. In Vermont, the cost of health care went down for many in 2021. By sharing the message about Open Enrollment, we can give even more Vermonters the opportunity to attain health and well-being without worrying as much about the cost of health insurance. Can you spread the word to your neighbors? If you share the messages on this page, you can help more Vermonters learn how to save money on health insurance. Keep checking back here through Open Enrollment for more materials to share.

This toolkit consists of:

  • A 2022 Open Enrollment Overview
  • An Open Enrollment Poster

Town Hall videos

The third Town Hall builds on the first two events. DVHA staff and guests will go deeper on key plan selection questions. What do the different "metal" level offer me? How do I choose between a Standard, Plus, Select, or Preferred plan? Or between a standard deductible plan or a HDHP/CDHP? Do I want to add a dental plan?

Join us on-line to find out how you can explore your options and sign up for a plan that meets your needs. Tell Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, MVP Health Care®, and Northeast Delta Dental what matters to you most. Hear from fellow Vermonters how they choose a health plan. Ask your questions before the event on the link below.

The second Town Hall continued with the basics of what to know about Open Enrollment and aimed to help Vermonters make informed decisions about their health insurance. The hosts discussed decision-making resources available on-line, by phone, and throughout Vermont communities. A certified Assister joined the discussion and encouraged Vermonters who want local help to book an appointment soon. Includes Q&A.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont and MVP Health Care® give a detailed summary of health plans offered through Vermont Health Connect. Try our Plan Comparison Tool to find out if you qualify for financial help, and to see estimates of the total cost of each plan choice. Find more about qualified health plans - including brochures, and summaries of benefits and coverage.

The first Town Hall covered the basics of health insurance - important Open Enrollment dates, definitions, financial help, the change to where monthly premiums are sent, and more. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, MVP Health Care®, and Northeast Delta Dental gave overviews of 2022 health and dental plans offered through Vermont Health Connect. Includes Q&A.
