Some life changes let you have a Special Enrollment Period which lets you sign up for coverage or change the plan you already have. This is the only time you can sign up for new coverage or change plans outside of Open Enrollment. To learn more, click here.

Open Enrollment for 2024 health and dental plans runs from November 1, 2023 to January 15, 2024. It is the time any eligible Vermonter can enroll in a plan or change the plan they now have. Sign up by December 15 if you want a plan to start on January 1, 2024.

Open Enrollment is the time to look again at health and dental insurance. By sharing the message about Open Enrollment, we can give even more Vermonters the opportunity to attain health and well-being without worrying as much about the cost of health insurance.

These resources can help you understand how health insurance works, how to choose a plan, and how to get the most from your plan. Town Hall

The virtual Town Hall on November 1 covered the basics of health insurance and what to know about Open Enrollment - important dates, choosing a health insurance plan, and applying for financial help.
