If you are an American Indian or an Alaskan Native (AI-AN), you may have health coverage benefits on the health insurance marketplace. This coverage, offered through Vermont Health Connect, supports services you receive from your local Indian health provider at a reduced cost share or at a non-Indian health provider at the cost share associated with your plan. You can:
- enroll in coverage anytime throughout the year; AND
- get access to a wider network of doctors and hospitals when you need specialized care; AND
- keep up with important health screenings to help you stay healthy.
Vermont Health Connect offers plans with no cost share. Eligible enrollees must have an income under 300% FPL and be a member of a federally recognized tribe. These SBCs apply to all eligible customers regardless of plan selection.
